Save-a-dime : Great week to coupon

I am back.. This was a great week for deals at Rite Aid and CVS.  I got 565.00 dollars worth of merchandise I only spent $40.00 out of pocket . The best part is I have $51.00 dollars in rewards to shop  the ads next week. I saved more than I could have made on a part time job this week.

     It would take to long to tell you everything I brought home. 

    Up till this weeks the deals have been kind of slow. But this week I hit the mother load in coupon deals. I just don't get the people who say they don't have time to coupon. 

      I can't afford to leave things in the store that my family uses when I can get them for free or make money on taking them out of the store. Free money... tax free buying power. Yes it takes time to save-a-dime.  But it is so worth it. This week I save lots of dollars. Hope this weeks ad is as good.    

What  can you buy for $1.30 at Kroger. This is what I got today thanks to coupons

The hubby and I did 4 transactions. (This is the only kind I can get my little Roxie to eat.)
 On the first transaction I bought 6 cans of these are regular price 1.99 each. On sale for 1.79 and I had a coupon for $3.00 off 6. I also had a $10.00 coupon I received for filling my prescriptions at their pharmacy. I added 3 ears of corn they were on sale for 3 for $1.00 and 1 pack of price1.29 when all was said and done I paid 3 cents for these items. Almost free. The best part is I have 3 more $10.00 off coupons. So I did this transaction one more time .
       After that we did a 3rd. transaction I was out of butter so I bought 3 lbs 2.79 each, a 2liter soft drink for 88 cents and another on for $1.00 out of pocket I paid 25 cents.
On to transaction 4, hubby and I  decided to buy a ready baked chicken for 7.99 2 four pack of Hawaiian rolls 99 cents each, 1 Diet Coke 1 liter and Coke Classic 1 liter.  This cost me 99 cents out of pocket.


Without coupons and taking the time to break down the transactions I would not have been able to bring home $49.93 of merchandise for $1.30 . That is a $48.63 cent savings. We were in the store for about 30 minutes.  I feel this savings was worth my time.  This is the best deal I have come across this month.

Did  you stop by Walgreen's to pick up your Epsom Salt  $4.00 dollars out of pocket. But you get the $4.00 back in rewards .
There are many uses for this product. It can be used for soaking sprains & bruises, Just add 2 cups to your bath waters.
            It is great for sore, smelly feet just mix 1/2 cup to a large pan of water and soak.
Did you know that soaking in Epsom Salt helps get rid of toxins in your body, and helps increase you magnesium level. So what are you waiting for, get your free bag at Walgreen's.

CVS SAVES ME A DIME...

  This is a good deal but it could be better:

I printed the $2.00 off $15.00 coupon from the web this week. I wasn't sure what I would use it on at time. 

I was looking in the ad and saw that when you buy 5 coke 12 pack you get $5.00 back in reward bucks. So I use the $2.00 coupon and bought 5 12 packs for $13.00. That 21 cents a can great buy.

And don't forget I have a $5.00 reward to use.

 

So this is what I did with the $5.00 reward:

 

I bought 3 6 packs of Irish Spring Soap
you pay 3/$9 WITH CARD I had 3 50 cent off coupons from the paper and my 5.00 reward . That made the 18 bars of soap 2.50 that is like 13 cents a bar... Great price but wait they gave me back $3.00 reward

so I made 50 cents to take the soap home. Love it when that happens. I would love to know what your best deal this week was.  " 1.00 or less but free is best" I have heard said. But getting paid to take it home ROCKS..... savings

I came home with 10 boxes of the finish dish tabs 20 count, 10 cans of Rotel, and 10 cans of

Progresso soups. These items where at their lowest price point. and with coupons it was the right time to stock-up.

Save-a-dime: CVS last day for Irish spring deal

      Just sent the hubby out to pick a great deal at CVS, I almost forgot about.
 Check your coupon stocks if you have 4 of the $1.00 off coupons this deal is sweet
 I went in to the deal with 4 $1.00 of coupons and a $1.00 reward.
 You have to buy 4 of the 6bar packs of Irish Spring they are on sale for $3.00 not a bad price. That will come to $12.00 when they applied my $5.00 worth of coupons that is $7.00 out of pocket.
(If you have more reward bucks you can save even more.)
But the best part is they gave me back $6.00 in rewards .
 I saved $16.16 with the sale price and coupons alone.
 And the hubby brought me home $6.00 to shop the next add with. Today is the last day for this deal, so if you have the coupons and the time you can save a lot of dimes.

So here"s what  I got for $15.35  6 boxes OF Hefty bags, 4 cans of Rotel had to get a rain check at 9 cents a can they sold out. 10 packs of tuna, and 10 cans of Progesso Soup. This haul saved me 72% I love a great deal.
