Love amusement parks? South Carolina , Who Knew



I love amusement parks! I am always looking for a new one to visit. I found this park while surfing the web, think I'll it out check soon.


GENERAL DIRECTIONS

Take I-77 to SC exit #90 at the North Carolina/South Carolina border. The Park is just 15 minutes south of Uptown Charlotte and 15 minutes north of Rock Hill, SC.

Family Rides
Get soaked together on three different water rides, or take a spin on rides from mild to wild.

Nickelodeon Central
Fun is guaranteed at Nickelodeon Central. Ride, spin, twirl and hug the day away with your favorite characters from your favorite Nickelodeon TV shows!

Live Shows
It's showtime anytime at Carowinds. With live stage productions and plenty of characters, the whole park's a stage.

Boomerang Bay
20 acres of Aussome, flowing fun awaits you in Boomerang Bay water park! Navigate a four-story rafting adventure; plunge through twisting tube slides; climb, spray, splash on a huge, flowing playground; relax in a heated lagoon; brave wild waves or let the world melt away with a float down a ramblin' river! All new for 2008 Bondi Beach!

Howl-O-Fest
Every Saturday and Sunday,
October 4-26, Noon - 4 p.m.

Carowinds is decorated with thousands of pumpkins, hay bales, corn stalks and Halloween characters to create a daytime extravaganza of fall festivities for kids and their parents!

Trick-or-treat along with your Nickelodeon friends including SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer in Nickelodeon Central, 2 - 4pm.

Goblin Groan Foam Zone - Have some clean fun in a bubbling foam pit.

Interact with Peter "the Great" talking pumpkin.

Pumpkin Patch - Visit the gorge of gourds and take home a spooktacular keepsake.

you should go to carowinds some time...it's great fun, but if you're not used to the humidity of this area, i'd go early in the summer!
