I woke up this morning to the sound of rain pounding on my roof, and remembered that I had to get up and get out in the deluge. Of course you know, you can only have a bad hair day when the humidity is 100 percent.
I got to work on time in spite of the rain.
The rest of the day seemed as gloomy as the sky outside. Around 5:00 pm my youngest daughter called me and said you will never guess who is looking for you on face book.
And she was right, I couldn't guess. It turned out to be a very special friend from like 23 years ago. She moved out of state and we lost touch. When I got home I had an e-mail from her!
Hearing from her after all these years was like finding a rainbow on a rainy day.
If it were not for face book she would have never found me...Way to go Face book..
I know this is not about trying to save money, but I just felt the need to share.

I recently got back in touch with a friend after 15 years and found her on facebook. We were best friends when we were young and even after I moved away we still kept touch. It was only after adulthood that we stopped writing.
It is nice to know someone from your past was thinking about you!
OH MY GOSH! I have heard of face book but had no idea it was a place you found people?? Thanks so much for writing about this.
I have seen your little dime on my followers and am just realizing that you have to sometimes go see what is going on out there in blogland and not wait around just for the comments. I started checking and there you were..and with GREAT information. Thanks so much for that post. Now to go find out more about this "facebook". I have lost track of a couple of girlfriends over the years I loved dearly and this might just be the chance to find them. Again..thanks!!

Hi Casey. How have you been? Any good plans for the weekend? My leg is getting better. Thank God. It has been so very painful. I'm off to bed before it gets too late.
I am glad you got to reconnect with your old friend. I always like happy stories like that.
