Snow Cones Anyone

This is great for the Kids, or the Kid in you!

Snow cones
Crushed Ice

1 pkg. flavored drink mix (flavor of your choice)
Mix drink mix with half as much water as the directions indicate. Chill 1 hour.

Just before serving, crush some ice.
You can use either a snow cone maker or put some ice cubes in a plastic bag and pound with hammer.
Pack ice chips into cups, pour chilled drink mix over the ice and serve.
You can also use fruit juice boiled down to half with food coloring added.

Apple juice: green or red food coloring
Grape juice: purple food coloring
I love Pineapple juice on mine.
That is the great thing about Snow Cones, everyone can have their favorite flavor.
And the Kids will have great time helping you make them.

This cleaning tip is safe for the environment. To clean your tub just use these simple directions.
White vinegar -- heated and poured into a spray bottle -- works wonders on fiberglass. Simply spray on and wipe off with a soft or micro-fiber cloth. After 10 or 15 minutes, pour more white vinegar on a clean sponge and scrub the entire tub, rinse well and dry.

Compared to the price of Store cleaning products this tip will save you some dimes.

White vinegar runs about 99 cents for a 16 oz bottle.

These were sent to me by a Good Friend who just retired. I just had to share them with all of you..

What I have learned in 50 years

Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.
If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race has not achieved, and never will achieve, its full potential, that word would be "meetings."
There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
People who want to share their religious views with you almost never want you to share yours with them.
You should not confuse your career with your life.
Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance.
Never lick a steak knife.
The most destructive force in the universe is gossip.
You will never find anybody who can give you a clear and compelling reason why we observe daylight savings time.
You should never say anything to a woman that even remotely suggests that you think she's pregnant unless you can see an actual baby emerging from her at that moment.
There comes a time when you should stop expecting other people to make a big deal about your birthday. That time is age eleven.
The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status or ethnic background, is that, deep down inside, we ALL believe that we are above-average drivers.
A person who is nice to you, but rude to the waiter, is not a nice person. (This is very important. Pay attention. It never fails.)
Your friends love you anyway.
Thought for the day: Never be afraid to try something new. Remember that a lone amateur built the Ark. A large group of professionals built the Titanic.
