The Tea Party started at the Capital, in Atlanta at 9:00 pm last night.
When my husband picked me up at work yesterday I asked him, why don't we go to the Tea Party?
I thought he would love the idea. Wrong!
He said he would like to go,but we have to work tomorrow, and we need our sleep, the crowd will be so big where would we park?
This from a man who is always complaining about the high taxes, I am glad our founding fathers didn't think like that, how dull would our history books be?
This from the man who says, "Don't throw the tea, throw the politicians who voted to pass the bills that got us in this mess."
My hat is off to all of you who fought the traffic and stay up late on a work night to send a message.
You are the ones, who make us a great nation.

I didn't get to go to one either, but I posted a tea bag on my blog and had my own little virtual tea party:) I took it down though when some crazy guy left a strange comment. Oh well. Wish I could have gone though.
Same story here... I would love to go to a tea party, but I can't imagine my husband holding a sign or being in a large crowd. Thank God for all the people who did get out there. There are many more of us at home who stand with them.
We had a small tea party here in our community. No traffic. Just objectors to the taxes.
I would have loved to go too, but also didn't make it.
I want a T shirt that says "Hey IRS" and flip them the bird. Sorry..don't think I am terrible..and I don't wear T's with anything on them..but...my husband Pat thought of that...and he always wanted to have one made. Personally...I think it's a great idea. We would have made a lot of money...especially now! :) Maybe I'll do that. :)
Great post!
