Okay, I need a sale on Ground Chuck, Roast, anything that my boys will eat.
Yes, I am one of those crazy woman who watch the ad's, clips coupons, and buys in bulk, so we can save-a-dime.
In 2010 I never paid over 1.99 a pound for Ground Chuck or Ground Round.
About 8 weeks ago I stocked up, on 20 pounds of Ground Chuck at Ingles. (1.99 per pound)
I have been checking the ads every week, looking for a sale, to replace what we have used. I have not seen it anywhere under 2.52 a pound. (That's not good.)
It seems the corn shortage and the oil price are making there way to the meat counter.
I will keep watching the ads, hoping to see a Real Sale, before I run out. The Kroger ad called this sale prices this week

Save-a-dime : at Ingles: This is what I bought for $9.38 .
12 cans of Hormel Chili , BOGO coupons for $1.00 off every 3 cans .
6 bottles of mustard store brand. BOGO sadly no coupons.
Cost of these items $9.36.
The normal price of the Chili was 1.78 a can that would have been 21.78 just for the Chili.
The egg noodles normal price $1.34 a bag that would have been 26.80 .
The store brand mustard normal price 88 cents bottle that would have been $5.28.
That comes to 53.68 I saved $44.48 on this trip..
