Last week I earned my $10.00 gift card and I just got back $5.00 in extra bucks. I want to use this along with coupons on the Spend 30.00 get a $10.00 gift card promo.

 This is what I did.

2/$6.00 fun size Mars Chocolate (A girl just has to have her Chocolate.)
2 Packs of the Scott double roll 12 pk Bathroom tissue
2 packs of the Scott mega roll paper towels 6pk, that makes the total $30.98 before tax.
I had 4.00 in coupons,the $5.00 extra bucks and a $10.00 gift card I earned last week so my out of pocket I paid $11.98.
The best part is they gave me another $10.00 gift card. I will save it to use on something in next weeks ad.

This product retails at CVS for 24.99 it is on sale for $14.99 check you paper for the $4.00 off coupon. That is an okay deal, not. But if you have extra bucks and the 4.00 dollar coupon the deal gets sweeter. Because there is a $10.00 rebate form at coupon mom. I used 8.39 cents of my extra buck and the coupon, out of pocket I paid 2.60. The best part is they gave me back $5.00  in extra bucks. I will send in the rebate form to make this deal a real  money maker.

BEFORE COUPONS AND KROGER PROMOTION THESE ITEMS WOULD HAVE COST 16.48 BEFORE TAX.
WHAT I PAID WAS 4.10

The haul: 2 packs of Kroger hamburger buns, 4 Old Spice deodorants and to Sauve deodorants.

Just made a run by CVS,  I wanted to use my $2.15 off  finish powerball tabs. So I could earn my 10.00 gift card. The finish is on sale for 2/7.00 that's 3.50 each - $2.15 coupon on each box that makes them $1.35 for the 20 count box. I also had some extra bucks to use with the coupons. When all was said and done this was a money maker for me $7.30 out of pocket for the 8 boxes and this purchase helpd me earn the  spend  $30.00 get a 10.00 gift card.  Thank you CVS for paying me $2.70 to take them out of the store.

Did you get the Bic coupon in the Sunday paper? I buy 4 papers so I had 4 coupons. I am not crazy about Bic pens. However I did need some permanent markers, Staples has them in this weeks ad for 99 cents. So I got 4 packs just had to pay sales tax 28 cents.

SAVE-A-DIME: RITE AID

Do you use eye drops? Check your coupons for the Visine $2.00 off coupon, then get the RITE AID weekly add and clip the in store coupon for another $2.00 off. They are on sale for $5.29 you pay $1.29.

Do you take vitamin  D? Check your coupons for the $2.00 off coupon for Viacitv 60 count, they are on sale for $5.99 I had a $3.00 register reward to add to this purchase. So I paid 99 cents for the Viacitv.
Register Rewards are a great way to save money, don't forget to use them. If you don't use them, it is like throwing money away.


I was in my local Rite Aid tonight, they had a ton of stuff marked 75% off. Check your store to see if you can find some great deals in the clearance section. I got $47.67  for $14.87.
I just love saving dimes.

Have you noticed how high the price of eggs have been lately? The best price I could find this week was at Walgreens $1.29 a dozen that is even cheaper than Aldi .

save-a-dime: What I saved with coupon since June 2011

I saved $1,999.51 from 6-11 until 12-11. And to me that is worth clipping, printing and sorting coupons.
 Since I have been under the weather, I didn't shop much in Dec. My hubby was kind enough to make a run to CVS this morning, so this is our first official coupon saving for Jan. 2012.

Transaction one:  Nivea a 'kiss of moisture' is 2/5.00 this week in the ad.  You can earn $5.00 in extra care bucks if you buy $10.00 of Nivea products, and in this Sundays paper there is a coupon for $3.00
off 2 . I always buy 4 papers. So I sent the hubby with the 2 coupons and his CVS card to pick these up. Here how you make money on a deal. $10.00 for the 4 lip moisture sticks they take off $6.00 for the coupons and hubby pays them $4.00. Now the good part is he gets back $5.00 in extra bucks.

Transaction 2:  CVS is running a promo on certain items in the ad, if you buy $30.00 you get a $10.00 CVS gift card. Okay, hubby has five dollars in extra bucks he can put on this transaction. He also scan his CVS card when he got to the store and out popped a $5.00 off $25.00 coupon. now he has $10.00 to use on the $30.00 order. Before he left, I checked out my coupons. I had 4 coupons for 25 cents off a pack of Charmin which is an item in the promo so he got 5 12 packs of Charmin. I had 4 coupons for 50 cents off the Dawn dish soap, on sale at .99 cents, he bought 4. He paid 18.41 and got back a $10.00 gift card.

RETAIL : 67.69   OUT OF POCKET  21.91  and he came home with a $10.00 gift card for me to use on next weeks ad.
